AfroAmor

Brief

To build a cross-continental cultural collective that amplifies Southern African music, connects diasporic communities, and introduces genres like Amapiano, Gqom, Afrotech, and Afro-House to new audiences. The aim was to create a consistent, scalable event experience that felt like “home away from home.”

Execution

As Founder, Creative Producer & Brand Lead, I managed the full production and strategic growth of AfroAmor.
Key responsibilities included:

Event ideation, programming and production

Artist booking and management

Creative direction for brand identity & visual campaigns

Partnership development (venues, collaborators, sponsors)- held partnerships with Soho house Berlin and Jaagermeister.

Digital marketing, community building, and audience engagement

Managing monthly events in Berlin and London with DJs, instrumentalists, dancers, and immersive elements

The platform became a cultural touchpoint for the Southern African diaspora in Europe, achieving consistent audience growth and strong brand recognition.
